The ������� is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and nondiscriminatory learning, living, and working environment. This commitment includes an environment free from Sexual Harassment (including Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking), Sexual Exploitation, and Retaliation (collectively, “Prohibited Conduct”).

Prohibited Conduct will not be tolerated and will be grounds for disciplinary action, including permanent dismissal from the university. We strongly encourage those who have experienced Prohibited Conduct to promptly report the incident to the Office of Title IX.

Reporting an incident to the university does not obligate you to pursue university discipline or criminal prosecution. Reporting an incident to the university ensures you can access supportive measures and resources. Contact information for reporting options and confidential resources can be found on the Title IX website.

In compliance with Tennessee law, ������� will inform parents or guardians when any student under 21 is found responsible for violating any policy governing the use, possession, and/or distribution of alcohol or illegal drugs.

The Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act requires the university to distribute a notice to all employees and students with information about our drug and alcohol prevention efforts.

������� prohibits the unlawful use, manufacture, possession, distribution, or dispensing of drugs and alcohol on university property. This unlawful use is also prohibited during university activities. Violation of this policy is grounds for disciplinary action and legal prosecution.

Information regarding the health risks associated with using  and  can be found through our University Clinic. Programs and resources to address drug or alcohol counseling, recovery, treatment, or rehabilitation can also be found through our University Clinic.
