Pulaski, TN — February 26, 2024 — ÍøºìºÚÁÏ proudly announces a remarkable achievement during its first-ever FIRE Week, a campaign designed to ignite support and enthusiasm among its students, faculty, alumni, and friends. The university’s annual Giving Week, the Office of Advancement initially set a goal to engage 250 donors, and the ÍøºìºÚÁÏ community quickly surpassed this target early in the week, leading to the establishment of an ambitious stretch goal of 650 donors. The response from the community exceeded all expectations, showcasing the profound spirit of generosity and commitment within the ÍøºìºÚÁÏ family.

ÍøºìºÚÁÏ is thrilled to report an unprecedented total count of 1,257 donors, marking a significant achievement in engaging our community and advancing our mission, with a total amount of more than $51 thousand dollars raised.

“We are extremely grateful for this record donor participation in our inaugural FIRE week,” said Evan Beech, vice chancellor for advancement. “This outpouring of support demonstrates the belief our community has in the university’s continuing mission of providing the best possible educational experience for our students. Thank you to each and every donor who made an investment in the future of the ÍøºìºÚÁÏ.”

The funds raised during FIRE Week are earmarked to support various initiatives, including scholarships, research opportunities, campus improvements, athletics investments, and community outreach programs. These contributions will play a crucial role in enriching the educational experience for current and future students and fostering a vibrant campus environment.

ÍøºìºÚÁÏ extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in FIRE Week, from planning and promotion to those who donated. This initiative has not only achieved its financial goals but has also strengthened the sense of community and shared purpose across campus.

The official tally of contributions, including offline donations and any additional funds received by the end of FIRE Week, will be announced shortly. ÍøºìºÚÁÏ looks forward to building on this success in future campaigns and continuing to engage the broader community in its mission and goals.
