Kasper Kramer\, author of the recent Serpent on the Mountain\, will deliver a public lecture\, reading\, and book signing on Monday evening\, September 28\, in the Gault Fine Arts Recital Hall at 6:00 p.m. See Bio below. Jessica Miller\, writing under the name J. Kasper Kramer\, is the critically-acclaimed author of the historical novels Serpent on the Mountain\, The Story That Cannot Be Told\, The List of Unspeakable Fears\, and Eyes on the Sky. Her books have been translated into multiple languages and received numerous honors and awards\, including the Georgia Children’s Book Award and the inaugural Children’s Literature Artist Fellowship from the Tennessee Arts Commission. Originally from Nashville\, Kramer was an early recipient of the Michael and Barbara Barton Scholarship and graduated from Martin Methodist/ in 2009. She began her career while living abroad in Japan\, but now lives in Chattanooga with her husband\, daughter\, and too many pets.
